You will NOT be able to post your picture here, but I'd like to have examples in class for everyone to look at, so keep it open on your computer.

swamper-a general assistant or ladorer, a person who in habits, work in swamps

Swamper- A handyman; someone who performs odd jobs often involving cleaning



Graybacks- Lice, Parasites



Skeptically- To be skeptical is doubt or questions something.



Liniment- A medicated liquid rubbed on the skin to ease sore muscles and sprains



Stocky- Heavily or solidly built



Laboring- Working particularly work that involves physical labor.



Mollified- Soothed; Pacified



Pugnacious- Eager and ready to fight



Gingerly- In a careful, cautious way



Derogatory- Belittling and insulting
